Sales activity by the end of the third quarter has totaled 33 EPISCAN systems. All of the units have been sold into wound prevention/assessment. Of the last ten sales, 3 systems were into long-term care, and 7 systems were sold into acute hospitals.Sales into acute hospitals were a direct result of the new CMS Ruling, which has now gone into effect.
