Charter Financial Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

WEST POINT, Ga., May 26 // -- Charter Financial Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: CHFN) recently
announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 25 cents per share. The dividend is payable on June 29, 2009, to stockholders of record on June 19, 2009. This equates to an annualized dividend rate of $1.00 per share.
