Zenrin Co. Ltd. will appoint Zenshi Takayama, 45, new president of the company, replacing Yasushi Harada, on April 1, 2008. Takayama, a native of Nagasaki prefecture, western Japan, graduated from the Seinan Gakuen University and joined Zenrin in 1986. He became a member of the company's board of directors in 2006.
