Zygo Corp. announced that its Optical Systems Division has been awarded a multi-million dollar manufacturing contract to produce Advanced Helmet Mounted Displays (AHMD) for the L-3 Communications Link Simulation and Training division in support of the US Air Force F-16 aircrew training program. The F-16 aircrew training program represents the first time ZYGO's AHMD will be deployed for jet fighter training programs, representing a new application for the product. The AHMD is also currently being used by the US Army for advanced helicopter training.
