WPCS International Incorporated has announced that it has received approximately $9 million in new contracts. The new contracts include projects to be completed for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, San Francisco International Airport, Kaiser Permanente, Beale Air Force Base, University of Connecticut Health Center, Rockaway Township Police Department, Neptune Township Police Department, the University of California and Manatee County. In addition, new projects were awarded to WPCS from Shenzhen Gas Corporation in China as well as Belmont Hospital and the St. Andrew's School in Australia.

WPCS International Incorporated announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended July 31, 2009. For the quarter, the company has reported operating income of $622,543, income before income tax provision of $562,102, net income of $324,020 and net income attributable to company of $434,917 or $0.06 per diluted share on revenue of $25,283,783 compared to operating income of $1,456,026, income before income tax provision of $1,370,462, net income of $879,557 and net income attributable to company of $838,311 or $0.12 per diluted share on revenue of $28,267,531 for the same period last year. The company is reaffirming its guidance for fiscal year 2010 of $112 million in revenue, $2.2 million to $2.4 million in net income and $0.31 to $0.34 in fully diluted earnings per share.
