Voxware Inc. announced that Tawa Supermarket Inc., has implemented its Voxware 3 software product. The Voxware 3 solution was configured and deployed in four weeks. Originally used with Tawa's legacy WMS, the Voxware 3 application was ported after just four months to SAP. Working in tandem with Tawa's IT organization, Voxware accomplished the migration to SAP in less than three weeks. Workers continued to use the same processes and voice dialogs after the cutover to SAP. Voxware 3 works in real time with SAP, ensuring that store orders are fulfilled accurately.

Voxware Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended September 30, 2009. Overall revenues decreased 16% to $2.747 million from $3.254 million during the comparable prior year period. Net loss on GAAP basis was $1.215 million or $0.15 per diluted share compared to a net loss of $1.970 million or $0.30 per diluted share for the comparable prior year period. Net loss on a non-GAAP basis was $0.868 million. Operating loss was $1.205 million compared to $1.967 million reported a year ago. Loss before income taxes was $1.215 million compared to $1.970 million reported a year ago.

Voxware Inc. announced that its annual meeting of stockholders will be held on December 10, 2009 to amend the company's amended and restated certificate of incorporation, as amended to increase the number of shares of common stock authorized for issuance from 12,000,000 shares to 15,000,000 shares.
