Ucore Uranium Inc. provided an update on the 2009 drill program currently in progress at its Bokan-Dotson Ridge rare earth project in Alaska. Since the commencement of drilling on September 8, Ucore has completed 25 holes, comprising 2,443 metres of core. Processed core is being forwarded on a routine basis to Eco Tech Laboratories of Kamloops, B.C., for assay. Drilling continues on site, and assays will be released as soon as received and confirmed.

Ucore Uranium Inc. announced the resignation of Mr. Brian MacEachen as director effective September 30, 2009. Mr. MacEachen is leaving due to a previously existing long term engagement as a member of the board of directors of another very well respected rare earth exploration concern. The former relationship predates Mr. MacEachen's appointment to the board of directors of Ucore in 2006.

Ucore Uranium Inc. announced most recent results of pre-drill program surface sampling at the Bokan-Dotson Ridge Rare Earth project in southeast Alaska. The samples are a combination of grabs and channels collected from the REE-prospective Dotson Trend east of Bokan Mountain, an area which is the primary focus of the Company's recently commenced drill program. The purpose of the sampling program is to characterize surface mineralization and further delineation of the most prospective targets for drilling. As reported in Ucore's press release of September 10, 2009, drilling has commenced at Bokan-Dotson Ridge on a 24/7 basis, with a target of 2000 linear metres of which more than 900 metres has already been completed.
