Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. announce that it has signed a five year license agreement with Hearing Coach Africa (Pty). The agreement for V3 hearing protectors specifies quarterly commitments over five years, totaling a minimum of $1,000,000. The agreement is renewable for an additional 5 years if all contractual conditions and minimum quarterly commitments are met. The agreement is in line with company's previously announced licensing business model. Hearing Coach has many major customers throughout Africa, many of which are currently using the company hearing protection. The first of these to buy into the Sonomax Solution(TM) under this new agreement is BHP Billiton. BHP Billiton has started a process of fitting 2,800 of its workers; the company employs in excess of 38,000 people.

Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. announced that it has met the Phase III milestone in the development of its off-the-shelf, self-fitting, custom earpieces, which involves having subjects fit themselves using the IFS (Intelligent Fitting System) without assistance. The company further announced that it is on schedule for the consumer launch of the product in early 2009, and reconfirmed its undertaking to keep investors informed timely of the success or failure of each of the remaining milestones.

Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. announced that it has successfully passed its Phase II milestone, proof-of-performance of a delivery mechanism that inflates a V3 earplug as per fit function criteria. Passing this milestone is a substantive achievement because Sonomax utilized a completely mechanical system to fill an earpiece and was able to effectively demonstrate that it will be able eliminate outside human intervention in the fitting process. When it will fully commercialize, users will be able to easily customize their own earplugs themselves by simply seating them in their ears and pressing the 'Magic Button'. The IFS 'Intelligent Fitting System' does the rest; it will dispense the perfect amount of silicone into the earpiece. Once fitted, the IFS simply is snapped off and the user is left with perfect fitting custom fitted earpieces ideal for earphones or Bluetooth(TM) devices.
