Sun Sports and Entertainment, Inc. informed that Founder, Chairman and CEO CJ Comu officially announced his retirement on July 31, 2009. Mr. Comu helped build an aggressive path in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) with the creation of SUN's brands, 'Art of War' and 'Mano-a-Mano.' Clyde Gentry, President of SUN who will now assume the responsibility as Chairman.

SUN Sports & Entertainment Inc. announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Camelot Sports & Entertainment LLC, to produce up to 12 of their award-winning Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Events at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo site in Mesquite, Texas. The first event is scheduled for July 12th, 2009. Camelot recently purchased Resistol Arena and the MCR. The Arena was previously owned by Southwest Sports Group, which also owns the Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars. The Arena has long been an important fixture to the City of Mesquite, and its revitalization starts immediately. Camelot will remodel suites and entertainment areas inside the arena, with all renovations to be completed June 2009. The venue, which hosts seating for up to 6,000, will include a new VIP Club and two new state-of-the-art color video boards.

Sun Sports and Entertainment Inc. has signed an agreement to produce up to six Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) events in 2009 for FAME USA, a series of events showcasing the elite natural and drug-free athletes of the country, starting on May 8th, 2009 in Houston, Texas. The first leg of the tour, FAME USA's Lone Star Weekend, will feature some of the country's most natural talent in a myriad of events including: bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini, step competitions and all-star coed cheer and partner stunt challenges. For the first time, mixed martial arts will be part of that line-up and FAME USA Presidents Jason Powell and Kai Miranda hope to make it a permanent fixture with the organization.
