Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. announced that it will debut its new webinar broadcasting studio and teaching facility March 1st in concert with its international business launch to Canada and Mexico. The new webinar broadcasting and teaching facility will allow PBS, SGI, SYSTEMS group and Stealth Monitoring to utilize the studio to reach their off-site offices and clients and, as such, reduces the overall costs by eliminating the expense of travel to Dallas for certain training sessions, technology introductions, and educational venues. This facility will expand training and marketing capabilities to national and international business clients, and will allow to create a curriculum that is efficient yet cost effective and keeps clients, off-site employees and business partners informed on a regular basis, without the expense of travel to offices in Dallas.
Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. announced that its SYSTEMSgroup Protective Services division is expanding its coverage to another gas fired (SES) power plant in central Texas for its largest utility client. SYSTEMSgroup Protective Services, Safeguard's largest security staffing business unit, will begin new security coverage on the central Texas plant beginning January 1, 2010. SYSTEMSgroup Protective Services provides the add-on security coverage on an 'as needed' basis. In particular, these additional services add a significant amount of profitable revenue annually and have increased the existing contract value in excess of $1 million per year throughout the term of the contract.
Safeguard Security Holding, Inc. announced that it will begin services in Canada on January 1, 2010. Premier Background Search (PBS), Safeguard's SEARCHglobal partnership, will offer services to its Canadian neighbors beginning January 1, 2010. The PBS sales unit, which focuses on background checks for consumer and commercial clients, has been requested to provide services to its clients in Canada.
