Southern Plains Oil Corp. announced scheduled treatment of its Charlene #1 well on its Big Sky unit in Rogers County, Oklahoma. The company has also scheduled beginning in August an enhanced recovery program consisting of both waterflood and NCO2 injection throughout the entire unit with plans to more rapidly produce the unit's more than 1.3 million barrels of proven recoverable oil. The company produced 430 barrels of oil from June 1 to July 10 on its Big Sky and Arco Selby leases in Oklahoma, and the company's net interest in such oil is 20%. The company expects to substantially increase production on the 2 leases as it commences NCO2 and waterflood on the 2 leases over the next 45 days.

Southern Plains Oil Corp. has acquired a 25% interest in a waterflood enhanced recovery property in Rogers County Oklahoma, along with another similar property in Nowata County Oklahoma, both properties are currently producing and the company will commence waterflood enhancement on the two properties in July. In addition, the company has acquired a 65% interest in a project in Wichita County Texas on which over 75 wells were originally drilled, the company has identified 45 wells to rework and it intends to commence workover activities and resume production of these wells over the next 30 days. The company is commencing its rework in the month of July 2008, and anticipates it will have oil production by the end of July 2008.
