Salcon Power Corp. announced that they are putting in additional investment to fund the upgrade and rehabilitation of the two power facilities to increase its reliability and dependability. At least PHP 100 to PHP 200 million fresh investment will be poured into the 146.5 megawatt Panay Diesel Power Plant and the 22 megawatt Bohol Diesel Power Plant. The Panay and Bohol power plants meet the peaking power demands of the two islands. They intend to fund the rehabilitation and upgrade of the two diesel plants using internally generated funds and some borrowings.
