My Baby First Steps follows last year's blockbuster Nintendo DS hits My Baby Girl and My Baby Boy. It gives aspiring parents the task of teaching and nurturing their baby as it grows to become a walking, talking toddler. Players will teach their baby how to recognize and name shapes and body parts, feed themselves, climb stairs and more. SouthPeak Interactive Corp. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended September 30, 2009. For the quarter, the company has posted net revenues of $16.7 million compared to $8.3 million in the comparable period in 2008. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, as adjusted were $1.3 million for the period compared to a loss of $1.3 million in the comparable period in 2008. Non-GAAP net income was $0.84 million compared a loss of $1.4 million in the comparable period in 2008. GAAP net income was $0.68 million or $0.01 per diluted share for the period compared to a GAAP net loss of $2.7 million or $0.08 per diluted share in the comparable period in 2008.
