Excluding special items, non-GAAP net income attributable to Shamir's shareholders for the year was $14.3 million or $0.86 per diluted share, compared to $11.2 million or $0.68 per diluted share for the comparable period in 2008. The company reported income before income taxes on income of $16.93 million compared to $11.23 million for the same period last year.
