Shuffle Master Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended January 31, 2010. Revenues were $40.3 million, an increase of 17%, or $5.8 million, from $34.5 million last year. Adjusted for foreign exchange impact, total revenue increased 9% year-over-year. GAAP net income was $3.7 million or $0.07 per basic and diluted share against net loss of $1.0 million or $0.02 per basic and diluted share in the prior year period. Adjusted EBITDA totaled $12.7 million, up 39% from $9.1 million year-over-year. Income from operations was $5.5 million against $1.2 million last year. Income from operations before tax was $5.3 million against loss from operations before tax of $1.2 million last year. Net debt was $79.3 million as compared to $85.4 million as of October 31, 2009.
