Power's natural gas project portfolio is focused in southern Alberta, covering approximately 25,000 acres in three key producing fields.

Power Oil & Gas Inc. announced that it has acquired the petroleum and natural gas rights to the Bow Island Project, in southern Alberta. The project covers 1,295 hectares (approximately 3,200 acres). The acreage is contiguous. The Bow Island Project is located in a prolific natural gas region of southern Alberta. Power's natural gas project portfolio in southern Alberta covers 8,500 acres in several key producing regions, with an emphasis on unconventional prospects. Western Canada is one of the most significant regions for unconventional natural gas in North America. The region is estimated to hold an in-place resource of up to 575 trillion cubic feet, of which as much as 15 tcf may be economically recoverable.
