Plaintree Systems Inc. announced the sale of five of its secure high speed optical wireless technology products known as WAVEBRIDGE(R) to Plus Net in South Korea. The customer for this sale requires Fast Ethernet speeds of up to 155 Mbps along with traditional true voice, not VOIP and these are the options Plaintree's multiplex system offers. The Customer also is located in an area saturated with RF signals and needed a system immune to this problem.

Plaintree Systems Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008. For the quarter, consolidated revenue for all three product divisions this quarter 2009 was $6,841,758 up from $2,584,840 for the first quarter of last year. The net income attributed to common shares for the quarter increased to $1,147,092, or 0.12 cents per share, compared to a loss of $92,559, or 0.01 cents loss per share for the 1st quarter of 2008. The strong revenue and earnings figures for this period demonstrate the potential of the new diversified Plaintree.

Plaintree Systems Inc. reported earnings results for the full year ended March 31, 2008. For the year, the company reported management services revenue decreased by $1,015,150 from $2,014,500 in 2007 to $999,350 in 2008. Net income was $70,453 as compared to $969,752 for fiscal 2007. The primary contributing factors to the decreased income was the decline in management consulting fees that are determined at the discretion of the related parties and the increased legal and accounting fees associated with the acquisitions. Earnings per share were $0.00 compared to $0.01 in 2007.
