Progress Watch Corp. reports that it has agreed to develop and manufacture a totally new mechanical watch movement concept for a high end watch manufacturer. The new watch concept will show the time in an entirely new fashion, not previously seen in a watch. The development will be made by a new development team in Progress Watch, and the company expects that the new watch concept will be shown at the Geneva luxury watch exhibition in January 2009. This new project is a result of the company's success at the Basel and Geneva watch and jewelry exhibitions, and continued market and innovation efforts. The movement can be manufactured virtually countless designs. The project is expected to bring the company revenues in excess of CHF 7 million. The new movement will be an excellent addition to the company's suite of START tourbillon movements, and will strengthen the company's manufacturing and knowledge base.

Progress Watch Corp. has received confirmation of a further contract for its exclusive three-axis START Tourbillon movement. The contract is for delivery of movements over a minimum of a 3-year period.

Progress Watch Corp. announces that three exclusive, high-end, luxury watch brands will present highly innovative finished watch concepts using a further development of the Progress Watch START 'See-through Triple Axis Rotating Tourbillon' movement at the world's two premier watch and jeweler shows, BASELWORLD 2008, Basel, Switzerland and during the prestigious SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland.Further versions of the Progress Watch START movement featuring additional functions and special movement design options are presently in final development. These expanded designs have been engineered to satisfy different luxury watch brands' demand for customized movements. The Progress Watch START tourbillon mechanism completes a full rotation around the outer frame every 12 or 24 hours, depending on design. The inner dial indicates minutes and makes a full rotation every 60 minutes while moving with the entire mechanism along the outer circle. If desired, seconds can be indicated directly on the movement's cage. The hour pointer, indicates the hour on the outer dial, without the need for hands. Removing the need for hands allows the entire START mechanism to be viewable from both sides, creating the first 'see-through' tourbillon watch. The precision mechanical movements are entirely manufactured in Switzerland and meet the highest standards of the 'Haute Horlogerie' brands.
