The Board of Directors of Photon Control Inc. announced the appointment of Christopher Weston as President. In his role, Christopher will assume a principal leadership role for the execution of Photon's overall business and will continue to act as Marketing Director. Christopher joined Photon in 2008 as Marketing Director and has played an integral role in the Company's marketing diversification, streamlining strategy and distribution development. Prior to Photon, he served as Vice President of CUBE Global Storage Ltd., a global high-security information and asset management company, orchestrating a complete re-branding and strategic planning initiative. Mr. Michael Weston is leaving his role as Interim President and has resigned as member of the Board. Michael plans to remain involved with Photon in a special advisory capacity.

Photon Control Inc. announced that it has received an order for 38 specialized Laser-two-Focus Probe Optical Gas Flow Meter units from its Russian distributor. Photon's optical gas flow meters passed all rigorous tests in Russia last year in compliance with national standards for instrumentation for oil and gas industries. The devices will be used for flare monitoring at multiple sites where pipe sizes range from 8 to 30 inches in diameter. This 38 unit order will be delivered in September and October of this year. Meanwhile, Photon is shipping one additional flow meter unit to its Russian distributor to be used in other gas flow metering applications.
