Plexus Corp. Provides Earnings Guidance for the Full Year of Fiscal 2010

Plexus Corp. provided earnings guidance for the full year of fiscal 2010. The companys capital spending forecast for fiscal 2010 is estimated to be in the range of $65-$75 million. This is an increase of $5 million from estimate last quarter. This estimate does not include any additional manufacturing building but does include equipment needed to support new customers in existing locations and continued investment in equipment for new manufacturing locations in Romania and Hangzhou, China. Looking further ahead, while the company currently anticipates sequential revenue growth to continue in third and fourth quarters of fiscal 2010, the company expects the rate of revenue growth to moderate in comparison to the growth rate implied by second quarter guidance.
Plexus Corp. to Produce Version of New Coke Freestyle Machine

Plexus Corp. it has been tabbed to produce the "behind the service counter" version of the new Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, a beverage dispenser capable of blending more than a hundred different drinks. Under the new contract, the company will produce the "crew-serve" version of the machine designed for use behind service counters, not the self-serve product line. The company said that production of the Freestyle machine will ramp to production levels during fiscal 2011 and will take place at its plants in Appleton and Juarez, Mexico.
