Platinum Studios Inc. has undergone a period of significant project movement at the company including the acceleration of development of the DreamWorks, Universal Pictures and Paramount Pictures film "Cowboys & Aliens" with producers Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and Platinum Studios Inc. chairman and CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, receiving much trade press and the Platinum Studios independently financed co-production with Hyde Park Entertainment and Omnilab Media, "Dead of Night," nearing completion. In recognition of their parts in these accomplishments and more, Platinum Studios has promoted two members of its Film and TV division: Dave Collins to Director of Development, and Gioy De Marco to Director, International Productions. Collins and De Marco continue to report to Dan Forcey, Vice President of Development for Platinum Studios, who is the driving force in unlocking the potential within Platinum Studios' large multi-universe library of over 5,600 comic characters. Rosenberg recently placed the entire Film and TV department under company veteran Forcey with Randy Greenberg, of The Greenberg Group, continuing to spearhead business affairs and strategy for the division.
