Nexis International Industries Inc. revised earnings guidance for the six months to December 31, 2008. For the period, the company expects preliminary net earnings to €8 million ($12 million).

Nexis International Industries, Inc. and the Puyang City Government have commenced agreed joint preliminary activities to establish a Nexis plant near Puyan City in China. These activities are underway, following the signing of an agreement with the Puyang City Government. Under the 20 year BOOT (Build Own Operate Transfer) arrangement Nexis will build a manufacturing plant to produce affordable building panels and, together with its Nexis Country Licensee will construct high volumes of homes for the domestic market in China. The plant uses Green technology to process up to 750,000 tonnes of mixed solid dry waste per year, to deliver approximately 80,000 affordable homes per year. To enable the construction of the plant, the Puyang City Government will provide: Land for the construction of the plant; Facilitation of essential services and transport access for the plant; Waste supply to the plant; Land for establishing housing estates, that would be built using panels produced by the Nexis manufacturing plant; and Other forms of assistance.

Nexis International Industries, Inc. announced an agreement with the Municipality of Consolacion for the long term supply of waste to a Nexis Manufacturing Plant, to be constructed in the Cebu Province of the Philippines. Under this Agreement, the Municipality will provide Nexis with up to 750,000 tonnes of mixed solid dry waste per year over 25 years.
