Nexicon Inc. announced the appointment of Sam Glines as its chief executive officer. Sam was formerly the company's president and chief operating officer. He replaces former Chief Executive Officer Richard Urrea, who stepped down to pursue other interests. Mr. Urrea had served the company since its inception and oversaw the initial development and launch of several of Nexicon's services. He will continue to periodically consult with the company. Sam Glines joined Nexicon in June, 2008, and has since led the company's business development, operational, marketing and day-to-day management. As chief executive officer, he will retain formal authority over these functional areas but will be focusing primarily on the identification and pursuit of strategic partnerships and the expansion and refinement of the company's revenue growth plans.

Nexicon Inc. announced that is has signed a teaming arrangement with a significant SETA (system engineering and technical assistance) U.S. Government contractor to represent and distribute Nexicon's powerful MARC(TM) Technology Platform to the United States Government. The agreement calls for this partner to act as the prime contractor on service projects in the information technology arena, with Nexicon being the directed subcontractor supporting and supplying its proprietary MARC technology. Due to contractual and security obligations of this prime contractor, Nexicon is prohibited from disclosing the partner's name.

On June 26, 2009, Nexicon Inc. dismissed its independent auditor, Stark Winter Schenkein & Co., LLP and appointed Kramer Weisman and Associates, LLP as its independent auditor for the purposes of auditing its financial statements for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
