NexMed Announces Third Quarter 2009 Financial Results Conference Call

EAST WINDSOR, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NexMed, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXM - News® technology, today announced that management will hold a conference call to discuss 2009 third quarter financial results and ongoing corporate activities, on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. EST. The Company will file its Form 10-Q by the end of business on Monday, November 9, 2009. In addition, NexMed also announced that it is currently in late stage contract negotiations to lease its facility. Mark Westgate, NexMed’s Chief Financial Officer stated, “If we successfully close this transaction, our monthly cash burn will drop significantly. NexMed Confirms Nasdaq Hearing Date

EAST WINDSOR, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NexMed, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXM - News® technology, today announced that it has heard back from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department regarding its request for a hearing concerning its possible delisting from the Nasdaq Capital Market, and that a hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2009. NexMed’s stock will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market pending a final decision by Nasdaq, which typically occurs within four to five weeks after the completion of the formal hearing. As announced on October 14, 2009, NexMed received a notice from Nasdaq indicating that it did not comply with the minimum $2.5 million stockholders’ equity requirement for continued listing set forth in Marketplace Rule 5550(b). In the event that NexMed is unable to successfully appeal the delisting from Nasdaq Capital Market, NexMed’s stock will be traded on the OTC Bulletin Board (“OTCBB”).As of June 30, 2009, the date of the most recently filed financial statements, the Company’s total stockholders’ equity was $1,700,553.
