Catskill Mountain Wind Accepts Mass Megawatts Wind Powers New Technology

Mass Megawatts Wind Power Inc. announced that Catskill Mountain Wind Management Inc. had accepted the company's newest version of its technology, which was a prerequisite for Catskill's purchase from Mass Megawatts of a number of demonstration units to be installed throughout New York State to promote the MAT (Multi-Axis Turbosystem) and Augmenter System. Under the terms of an agreement with Catskill, Mass Megawatts was required to have a commercialized version of its new Augmenter System (patent pending) installed, and have achieved an augmentation benchmark (increase in wind speed velocity entering the wind turbine area) over a month period of greater than 50%. Recently, Mass Megawatts announced that the new version of its Augmenter System, which was installed on its Hunter, New York project had maintained an augmentation level of 70% for over 30 days, and an average increase in wind velocity for that period of 70%.

Mass Megawatts Wind Power Inc. announced the first data sets from its Hunter, NY wind power project. It is the company's first project incorporating a full blown Augmenter System, and, initial data indicated that the company anticipated an increase in wind velocity through the System of close to 55%. In the data compiled in the past 30 days, the Hunter Project has achieved more than 70% augmentation during its first month of operation. The initial results look good. During the course of these first two months the company had seen every level of wind speed, from dead calm to gusts of 60 mph, and have had combinations of prevailing winds from every degree on the compass, and second by second, minute by minute and day by day the System has averaged out at more than 70% increased wind speed.
