Megola Inc., in collaboration with MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. announced the results of toxicity testing of Hartindo AF31, a water-based, multi-purpose, fire extinguisher and fire inhibitor. The report shows that Hartindo AF31 is both non-toxic and non-irritating after standard toxicity tests were performed to evaluate acute eye irritation, acute dermal irritation, acute oral toxicity and acute dermal toxicity. With these results, Megola and MSE can now pursue National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) approvals for Hartindo AF31, and the subsequent marketing and sales of the Hartindo AF31 line of products. In contrast to other common fire extinguishing agents, Hartindo AF31 will not cause eye, skin or lung irritation when used in a fire situation, affect visibility or require special techniques to combat fire. As a fire extinguishing agent, Hartindo AF31 does not have any of the drawbacks associated with other portable fire extinguishers. Hartindo AF31 is a water-based, environmentally friendly, multi-purpose, non-toxic and non-corrosive fire extinguisher and inhibitor.
