ManTech International Corp. has named Sally Sullivan Executive Vice President, Business Development, to lead the company's business growth supporting customers in the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community and throughout the federal government. ManTech International Corp. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2009. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of $514.6 million, up $28.5 million or 6% compared to $486.1 million for the same period in 2008. The growth was primarily a result of solid execution of the business strategy to focus on the high-end defense and intelligence markets that support its national security. Operating income was $46.4 million, up 15% compared to $40.3 million for the same period in 2008. Net income was $29.2 million, up 23% compared to $23.9 million for the same period in 2008. Diluted earnings per Class A and B shares were $0.81, up 21% compared to $0.67 for the same period in 2008. Cash flow from operations was approximately $32 million. The company reported income from continuing operations before income taxes of $46.42 million compared to $39.51 million reported a year ago. For the nine months, the company reported operating income of $131.67 million, income from continuing operations before income taxes of $131.17 million, net income of $82.25 million or $2.29 per Class A and B shares on revenues of $1,478.27 million compared to operating income of $111.98 million, income from continuing operations before income taxes of $108.77 million, net income of $65.69 million or $1.86 per Class A and B shares on revenues of $1,376.17 million for the same period a year ago. Net cash flow from operating activities was $98.68 million compared to $116.89 million reported a year ago.
