Market Leader, Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2009. For the quarter, the company's revenue was $5.6 million compared to $7.8 million a year ago. Net income was $1.4 million or $0.06 per share in the quarter compared to a net loss of $8.8 million or $0.37 per share a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was a loss of $1.8 million in the quarter compared to a loss of $0.46 million a year ago. Loss from operations was $3.4 million compared with $7.6 million a year ago. Loss before income tax (benefit) expense was $3.4 million compared with $8.9 million a year ago. For the year, the company's revenue was $23.9 million compared to $38.4 million a year ago. Net loss was $7.4 million or $0.30 per share compared to a net loss of $13.1 million or $0.54 per share a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was a loss of $5.0 million in the year compared to a $1.1 million gain in 2008. Loss from operations was $12.2 million compared with $12.3 million a year ago. Loss before income tax (benefit) expense was $12.2 million compared with $13.1 million a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was $4.3 million compared with net cash provided by operating activities of $1.6 million a year ago. The company reported purchases of property and equipment of $2.6 million compared with $2.5 million a year ago.
