Nielsen, who has extensive healthcare sales experience with Philips Healthcare, will have responsibility for sales of Insight Imaging's wholesale segment and will report directly to Kip Hallman, Insight Imaging's president and CEO. Insight Health Services Holdings Corp. held its earnings conference call. The company is looking for acquisition opportunities. Kip Hallman, President and CEO of the company said: “We sold our centers and ownership interest at very attractive multiples, generating approximately $32 million of cash proceeds. We have begun to reinvest these proceeds, both in our core business and in targeted acquisitions, including our suburban Boston acquisition. We continue to have a robust pipeline of other potential acquisitions in strategic markets, at attractive prices. In many cases, these acquisitions would result in additional operating synergies that would further reduce the effective purchase multiples. To date we've been able to acquire centers at several turns below the multiples at which we've sold centers, and we continue to focus on maintaining an average post-synergy purchase multiple below four times EBITDA.”
Insight Health Services Holdings Corp. provided capital expenditure guidance for year ending June 30, 2010. The company expects that it probably spend somewhere in the mid-20s range in fiscal year 2010, depending on opportunities to potentially finance some of capital expenditures through leases, that number might change a bit but not substantially.
