Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. designs, manufactures, and sells EcaFlo equipment in the United States. The company operates in two divisions, EcaFlo and Essential Oils Extraction. The EcaFlo division designs, markets, assembles, and sells anolyte solutions, the oxidizing solutions with a pH range of 3.5–8.5 and an oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) of +600 to +1200 mV that are used as a germicidal agent to kill various micro-organisms, including viruses, fungi, and bacteria. This division also provides catholyte solutions, the anti-oxidizing, mild alkaline solutions with a pH range of 10.5 to 12.0 and ORP of–600 to–900 mV, which are used as degreasers or detergents. Key developments for Integrated Environmental Technologies Ltd. (IEVM)
Integrated Environmental Technologies Ltd. has executed and secured funds for its first international license agreement with Atlas Developpement, S.A. for all industries except oil and gas in the country of France. In a strategic business expansion mode, IEVM has inked an exclusive, royalty-bearing license deal with Atlas Developpement, S.A. for EcaFlo(R) equipment and its EcaFlo(R) Anolyte. EcaFlo(R) Anolyte, whose active ingredient is a naturally-occurring substance known as hypochlorous acid, is the only ECA-produced, U.S. EPA-registered broad-spectrum, 'green' hospital disinfectant. The first use of EcaFlo(R) Anolyte will be in the agricultural industry, with a primary focus on controlling destructive pathogens in extensive vineyard properties. EcaFlo(R) Anolyte will be an integral part of the Atlas Developpement portfolio, which includes technologies such as biodegradable plastics, solar panels that will provide substantial energy to France's national grid, and its various agricultural operations.
Integrated Environmental Technologies Ltd. announced the successful results of IET's EcaFlo(R) Anolyte solution, marketed as Excelyte(R), against Swine Influenza (H1N1). Specific testing performed by Microbiotest Labs of Sterling, Virginia concluded that Excelyte(R) is efficacious against the microorganism which causes Swine Flu. IET will submit the results of the H1N1 testing to the EPA for inclusion on its master label. 'Excelyte(R) is the only anolyte solution registered by the EPA as a broad spectrum (hospital) disinfectant. EcaFlo(R) Anolyte (Excelyte(R)) is both biodegradable and non-accumulative, making Excelyte(R) the ideal choice for green-minded customers. IET is the original equipment manufacturer and distributor of EcaFlo(R) equipment--specially designed electrochemical activation devices that produce the highly effective, pH neutral disinfectant, EcaFlo(R) Anolyte. The Center for Disease Control states that studies have shown that influenza viruses can survive on environmental surfaces and can infect a person for 2 to 8 hours after being deposited on the surface. Because of its effectiveness on hard surfaces, Excelyte(R) becomes another line of defense in protecting against swine and other flu strains.
Integrated Environmental Technologies Ltd. announced the purchase of the next generation EcaFlo(R) Excelyte(R) equipment by Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., for the Interagency Biological Remediation Demonstration project. The Joint Project Manager for Decontamination ('JPM-DC') funded the purchase. DTRA, under special mandate from the United States Department of Defense, and working in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, purchased the EcaFlo(R) equipment to produce Excelyte(R) and EcaFlo(R) catholyte. The EcaFlo(R) units produce a powerful, environmentally friendly disease control agent uniquely manufactured from a saline solution. Excelyte(R) is produced by channeling the solution through an electrolytic cell using a proprietary microprocessor to precisely apply voltage, ensuring a metastable, pH-neutral microbiocide that is safe for the environment. Excelyte(R) will be used in significant situations requiring a highly efficacious, environmentally friendly, 'green' biocidal agent to remediate after a bio-terrorist attack. EcaFlo(R) catholyte is a mild cleaning detergent and degreasing agent that can be used in concert with Excelyte(R) to clean and disinfect.
