Protica Inc. has now set its sights on bulk packaging, due to International Dispensing Corp.'s (IDC) patented aseptic tap The Answer(TM). The Answer, the world's only aseptic dispensing device, enables shelf-stable liquids in large-format packages-such as a bag-in-box-to be dispensed safely and repeatedly over extended time without refrigeration. IDC and Protica recently inked a deal that grants Protica exclusive distribution rights to The Answer for protein-based and energy-based liquids. Protica's house brands and private-labeled brands are currently distributed in tens of thousands of retail locations throughout the healthcare, sports nutrition and mass retail channels. Products using The Answer will be sold through the same channels.

Revolution Tea announced the introduction of a new line of aseptic, super premium iced teas to be introduced at restaurants and restaurant chains nationwide. The teas will be offered in one-gallon Multiserve SafePaks(TM), exclusively from International Dispensing Corp. that enable shelf-stable liquids to be dispensed safely over extended time without refrigeration. The new line of super premium iced teas will come in five flavors Classic Iced, 50/50 Iced, Red Hawaiian Iced, Golden Peach Iced, and Emerald Green Iced - and will be distributed nationally by Revolution Tea and through the company's distribution agreement with Kraft Foodservice NA.
