Hysan Development Co. Ltd. announced the appointment of Mr. Nicholas Charles Allen as Independent non-executive Director and Chairman of Audit Committee of the company effective November 17, 2009. Mr. Nicholas Charles Allen, aged 54, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Allen has extensive experience in accounting and auditing and was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 1988 until his retirement in June 2007. Mr. Allen is an independent non-executive director of CLP Holdings Limited and Lenovo Group Limited.

Hysan Development Co. Ltd. announced that Mr. Gerry Lui Fai YIM will commence as Executive Director on 1 December 2009. He will assume general management roles as a member of the management team as well as overseeing the Company's financial function. Mr. Yim is currently Managing Director (for the Americas, Middle East and Africa) of the ports division of a conglomerate. Prior to that, he has held senior positions in general management, finance, and investment banking with major organizations in Hong Kong. The company also announced that Mr. LEE Hoo Tim, Peter has been appointed Adviser to the Board effective 22 October 2009 to advise the Board on Hennessy Centre redevelopment as well as general property matters. Mr. Lee has over 35 years' experience in the property field covering a spectrum of activities spanning property leasing and new developments in Hong Kong as well as Asia. He is a former Hong Kong Chairman of the international property consultancy firm, Jones Lang LaSalle.

Hysan Development Co. Ltd. announced that independent non-executive deputy chairman Sir David Akers-Jones has been made acting chairman after the Chairman's death. He will be supported by three Lee family members who sit on the board as non-executive directors. They are Anthony Lee Hsien-pin, Lee Chien and Dr. Deanna Ruth Tak-yung Rudgard. Lee Chien is a non-executive director of Swire Pacific and Television Broadcasts.
