Henley II, through its subsidiaries, owns an indirect investment in Henley III, which owned and operated the Boston Celtics professional basketball team of the National Basketball Association, prior to the sale of the team on December 31, 2002. The Boston Celtics principally sells tickets to home games, as well as license television, cable network, and radio rights. The partnership was formed in 1986. It was formerly known as Boston Celtics Limited Partnership and changed its name to Henley Limited Partnership in 2002.
