Graymark Healthcare Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009. For the quarter, net revenue increased 9% to $25.3 million, compared to $23.3 million in the second quarter of 2008. Due principally to a change in accounting estimate, net loss attributable to the company was $2.8 million, or $0.10 per diluted share compared to net income of $368,000, or $0.01 per diluted share for the second quarter of 2008. Without the change in accounting estimate, net loss attributable to the company would have been $0.2 million or $0.1 per diluted share compared to net income of $0.01 per diluted share for the second quarter of 2008.
