Geovax Labs Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2009. The company recorded a net loss of $230,815 on grant revenues of $1,808,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2009, compared to $722,108 on grant revenues of $1,322,000 for the same period in 2008. For the nine months ended September 30, 2009, the company's net loss was $2,440,977 on grant revenues of $3,272,000 as compared to $2,688,970 on grant revenues of $2,298,000 in 2008. Net losses for all periods were partially offset by revenues related to the Company's grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in support of its HIV/AIDS vaccine development activities. Effective November 3, 2009, the Company has relocated its corporate headquarters and laboratory operations from the Emtech Bio incubator facility located on the Emory University campus in Atlanta, Georgia to 1900 Lake Park Drive, Suite 380, Smyrna, Georgia, 30080 (metropolitan Atlanta). The move provides additional space for GeoVax's current activities, as well as space to accommodate planned expansion.

Geovax Labs Inc. announced that it will move its corporate headquarters and laboratory operations from the Briarcliff campus of Emory University to Smyrna, Georgia, a northwest suburb of Atlanta, effective November 3, 2009. The new location at 1900 Lake Park Drive, Suite 380, Smyrna, Georgia 30080, will encompass over 8400 square feet of office and laboratory space. The company will occupy this new headquarters under a 62-month lease. The facility is situated within an existing biotech building in a controlled-access campus, and will house all of the company's U.S. research and development, process engineering, quality control, regulatory and administrative operations.

GeoVax Labs Inc. announced the partial success in the recently completed Phase 3 trial in Thailand of a candidate HIV/AIDS vaccine owned by Sanofi-Aventis and Global Solutions for Infectious Diseases. The completed study represents the first HIV/AIDS vaccine trial to show prevention of infection. The results are highly encouraging for the clinical studies of HIV/AIDS vaccine and congratulate the Thai ministry of Public Health for successful conduct of a groundbreaking trial that included 16,000 volunteers and was supported by multiple agencies including the U.S. Army and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).
