Green Globe International Inc. announced an initial agreement to utilize Green Globe standards in a co-branding relationship with Green Hotel Certification, which is owned by Green Certifications Inc. Under terms of the agreement, Green Certifications Inc., which has developed benchmarking and certification systems for use in identifying compliance with green, sustainability standards, and Green Globe International, whose Green Globe brand is used in benchmarking and certification applications worldwide, will work together to co-brand and sell the dual certification to tourism properties, including hotels and resort destinations. Green Globe International will license Green Certifications to utilize its brand and logo mark in conjunction with Green Hotel Certification of tourism properties as sustainable businesses. The initial markets for the co-branding effort have been identified as North, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe. In exchange for the use of the Green Globe brand, Green Certifications will pay a licensing fee to Green Globe International for use of the brand equal to a percentage of gross revenues received by Green Certifications from its clients. The initial agreement between the parties is expected to develop into a binding definitive agreement.

Green Globe International Inc. announced a strategic alliance with Scott Wilson to collaborate on Green Globe sustainability and carbon neutrality projects for tourism destinations clients. Under terms of a Memorandum of Understanding, the areas of collaboration between Scott Wilson Group plc and Green Globe International Inc. include identification of potential tourism destinations for the Green Globe International programs, securing support and participation of key stakeholders in the destinations, designing and developing a destination-specific Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality Plan, working to identify new funding mechanisms e.g. carbon trading, for the destinations' Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality Plan, management and implementation of the Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality Plan, monitoring and reporting progress toward key sustainability and carbon generation indicators for energy consumption; waste production, water usage; chemical usage; community engagement, and local economic benefit, certification that communities and businesses are compliant with Green Globe benchmarking and certification programs available and providing an annual review to confirm compliance with benchmarking standards which quality for certification.

Green Globe International Inc. announced an initial agreement to form a joint venture company to implement Green Globe sustainability and carbon neutrality programs in China. Green Globe's Company and Community Standards for sustainable tourism practice are used across 48 countries by both tourism businesses and communities. The initial agreement, in the form of a non-binding letter of intent, establishes a mutual commitment by Green Globe International and Charles Kao, who serves on the company's Board of Directors, to establish and grow a Green Globe joint venture company to provide Green Globe branded services and products to customers in China and potentially in neighboring Asian countries.
