Chairman, Charles Gregoire de Rothschild, have issued a joint statement in response to recent shareholder questions. Franklin currently holds interest in two Bolivian mining sites. In September 2007, Franklin was awarded an Escala Mina I concession in a joint-venture with COMIBOL (the National Mining Company of Bolivia) and Cooperativa Minera INTI Ltda.
