Chairman, Charles Gregoire de Rothschild, have issued a joint statement in response to recent shareholder questions. Franklin currently holds interest in two Bolivian mining sites. In September 2007, Franklin was awarded an Escala Mina I concession in a joint-venture with COMIBOL (the National Mining Company of Bolivia) and Cooperativa Minera INTI Ltda. An operating agreement with Bolivia's privately owned San Antonio de Turiri antimony mine was negotiated in March 2009.
