Exco Resources Limited. together with joint venture partner Polymetals Group Pty Ltd. has completed the arrangements for a debt financing facility of $16 million by way of a gold linked prepayment facility with Barclays Capital, for the construction and commissioning of the White Dam gold project joint venture in South Australia. Some $13 million of funds will be available immediately and a further $3 million on successful completion of a review of the project's resource base, expected to be completed by mid-October. Together with an equity investment of $7.5 million by the joint venture partners, this completes the funding required for development of White Dam. The project is on track for the first gold production in the first quarter of 2010.
