Electronic Sensor Technology Inc. announced amendments to Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation. The Articles of Incorporation of the company have been amended and restated to give effect to the following amendments: to increase the number of authorized shares of common stock from 200,000,000 shares to 250,000,000 shares; to vest authority in the Board of Directors of the company to prescribe the classes, series and the number of each class or series of preferred stock and the voting powers, designations, preferences, limitations, restrictions and relative rights granted to or imposed upon any wholly unissued series of preferred stock; and to clarify and restate that the purpose of the business of the company is to engage in any lawful act or activity for which corporations may be organized under the General Corporation Law of the State of Nevada. The Board of Directors of the company and the holders of a majority of the outstanding common stock of the company previously approved the form of Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation on April 28, 2009 and April 30, 2009, respectively.

Electronic Sensor Technology announced the receipt of an order for 35 units of zNose(R) Model 4500 to be delivered to Mexico through EST's distributor, Global Security Solutions/Camouflage, for their use in homeland security applications. It is anticipated that this initial order is a precursor to additional follow on orders.
