EpiCept Corporation (EPCT) Wrap Up:
We are a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development of pharmaceutical products for the treatment of cancer and pain. We have a portfolio of five product candidates in active stages of development: an oncology product candidate undergoing final review for European registration, two other oncology compounds, and two pain product candidates,. Our portfolio of oncology and pain management product candidates allows us to be less reliant on the success of any single product candidate. Our lead oncology product candidate, CepleneĀ®, has been submitted for European registration as remission maintenance therapy of acute myeloid leukemia, or AML, for patients who are in their first complete remission (CR1). A second oncology product candidate, AzixaTM, licensed to Myriad Genetics, Inc., is currently in a Phase II clinical trial and we recently completed a Phase I monotherapy clinical trial for EPC2407, our early stage oncolocy product candidate. ...
