Enlightened Gourmet Inc. announced that it has completed the development of its fat free, high protein Ricotta Cheese product to offer to school lunch programs across the county. The Company's new products will initially include a variety of stuffed pasta dishes. The National School Lunch Program serves over 30 million children annually at over 100,000 schools throughout the country. During the 2008 school year, the Program served over 5 billion lunches at an annual cost of over $5 billion. While the company is introducing these new food products, its line of healthy, non fat, no sugar added, ice creams, marketed as Absolutely Free(TM) Gourmet Ice Cream, continues to grow in popularity with weight conscientious ice cream lovers. Expansion into Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio is planned for 2010.
