The company reported production in the third quarter was 29,874 PGM ounces, a decrease of 10% compared to the quarter ended June 30, 2009 and a decrease of 3% compared to the third quarter of 2008. Cash costs per ounce are expected to be higher compared to the June quarter as a result of the decrease in production. Concentrator recovery from the ROM circuit decreased to 78% during the quarter mainly as a result of sub-optimal operation during times of low feed from underground. This is expected to return to 80% as mining rates ramp back to pre-strike levels.
