Energtek Products to Purchase Natural Gas from Energtek

Energtek Inc. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Energtek Products Ltd., has successfully identified an industrial consumer to purchase Natural Gas from Energtek in Israel. The gas will be extracted from Nir-am Sa'ad site in the northern portion of Israel's Negev region. Earlier in 2009, Israel's Ministry of National Infrastructures granted Energtek Products a license to produce and sell natural gas located on the 807 million square foot site.
Philippines' Government Requests Energtek to Provide Sample CNG Lite Tricycle Conversions in Metro Manila

Energtek Inc. announced that the Government of the Philippines has requested that Energtek convert a sample of three-wheel vehicles in Metro Manila to operate on natural gas. The vehicles will be converted utilizing Energtek's proprietary CNG Lite(TM) system based on ANG technology. The conversion has been requested by the Department of Energy. The government agency informed the company of its intention to allow tricycles to use natural gas resources allocated to the Natural Gas Vehicle Program for Public Transport (NGVPPT). The NGVPPT, passed in 2002, is a nationwide program that 'aims to enhance energy supply security in the transport sector through fuel diversification using indigenous natural gas and to use natural gas as a clean alternative fuel for transport'.
