PT XL Axiata Tbk Deploys Ditech Networks' Mobile Voice Quality Solutions in Indonesia

Ditech Networks, Inc. announced that PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL) has deployed Ditech's Voice Quality Assurance (VQA) solution on its mobile network. XL joins a growing community of leading carriers in developing markets worldwide that have implemented Ditech's solutions for real-time optimization of voice quality for a quickly-growing mobile subscriber base. Currently deployed over major cellular networks in India, Brazil, Algeria and the Middle East, Ditech's VQA is a key solution for regions where carriers opt for half-rate codecs, which stretch network capacity, but reduce voice quality and magnify the impact of background noise. Deploying VQA to significantly reduce impairments enables aggressive capacity planning through half-rate codecs while maintaining an exceptional quality of experience for subscribers. XL will use VQA to deliver subscribers a consistent, high-value call experience regardless of handsets or device used, or where the call is made. This means VQA can effectively reduce acoustic echo from mobile headsets, and eliminate or minimize background noise from crowded and loud caller environments.

Ditech Networks, Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine month ended January 31, 2010. For the quarter, revenue was $4,329,000 compared with $4,899,000 a year ago. Loss from operations was $4,387,000 compared with $4,222,000 a year ago. Loss before provision (benefit) for income taxes was $4,398,000 compared with $3,876,000 a year ago. Net loss was $4,415,000 or $0.17 per diluted share compared to $3,790,000 or $0.15 per diluted share a year ago. Non-GAAP loss from operations was $3,337,000 compared with $3,577,000 a year ago. Non-GAAP loss before provision (benefit) for income taxes was $3,348,000 compared with $3,231,000 a year ago. Non-GAAP net loss was $3,365,000 or $0.13 per diluted share compared with $3,145,000 or $0.12 per diluted share a year ago. For the nine months, the company's revenue was $15,563,000 compared with $13,553,000 a year ago. Loss from operations was $11,950,000 compared with $17,745,000 a year ago. Loss before provision (benefit) for income taxes was $12,610,000 compared with $17,730,000 a year ago. Net loss was $12,674,000 or $0.48 per diluted share compared to $17,780,000 or $0.68 per diluted share a year ago. Non-GAAP loss from operations was $9,922,000 compared with $14,749,000 a year ago. Non-GAAP loss before provision (benefit) for income taxes was $10,582,000 compared with $14,734,000 a year ago. Non-GAAP net loss was $10,646,000 or $0.41 per diluted share compared to $14,784,000 or $0.57 per diluted share a year ago. The company provided revenue guidance for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010. The company expects quarter revenue to approximate the $7 million to $7.5 million level.
