Intrepid Mines Limited and Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. have signed a binding term sheet outlining the terms of an option/joint venture arrangement over Cornerstone's Shyri property in Ecuador. The property encompasses three gold prospects, Gama, Vetas Grandes, and Canaribamba. The grant of the option in respect of the joint venture will be conditional upon the fulfillment of conditions precedent including obtaining regulatory and third party approvals and the execution of formal option and joint venture documentation.

Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. announced the staking of 676 mineral claims (10,816 ha) in the New Ross area of western Nova Scotia. The New Ross area is underlain by Late Devonian granite intrusions of the New Ross Pluton and related smaller bodies of granite. The area is prospective for hosting lithium (Li) and rare metal deposits of niobium (Nb), tantalum (Ta) and beryllium (Be). The map-staked claims cover approximately a 25 km long trend of the favourable, altered and mineralized granites with at least a dozen known mineral occurrences. Many of the prospects have historic mention of lepidolite and amblygonite, ore minerals of lithium, and/or the ore minerals columbite/tantalite (niobium and tantalum) and/or beryl (beryllium).

Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. announced the staking of 148 mineral claims in the Letitia Lake area of central Labrador. The Letitia Lake area is underlain by Middle Mesoproterozoic peralkaline volcanic and intrusive rocks of the Letitia Lake Group and Red Wine Intrusive Suite respectively, which are prospective for hosting rare metal deposits of Beryllium (Be), Niobium (Nb) and Rare Earth Elements.
