Cirrus Logic Inc. revised its revenue guidance for third quarter ended December 26, 2009. For the quarter the company expects revenue up 49% to USD 65 million. The company now expects net revenue to show a year-on-year increase of 49%, and sequential growth of 17%, to approximately USD 65 million. This is up from the previous revenue guidance of USD 58 million to USD 62 million. Cirrus Logic stated that this increase was a result of higher than anticipated demand for a variety of audio products, besides improved demand for energy products.
