Century Casinos Inc., Q3 2009 Earnings Call, Nov-09-2009
Century Casinos Inc. and certain of its subsidiaries are party to an amended credit agreement with Wells Fargo Bank relating to the company's Central City, Colorado property. On October 22, 2009, the company repaid the outstanding balance of approximately $7.2 million, which includes principal, accrued interest and unpaid charges arising from earlier prepayments of principal. The company did not incur any additional prepayment charges for this transaction. The repayment by the company terminated the amended credit agreement.
WirtschftsBlatt reported that Century Casinos, Inc. plans to acquire the remaining 66% stake in Casinos Poland Ltd for nearly 14 million. The report added that the stake is currently held by LOT Polish Airlines and the Polish Airport Authority, which according to Ernst Kopp, commercial counselor at the Austrian Embassy in Warsaw, will seek to get a sale price of almost 24 million. Century Casinos is reportedly being advised by KPMG. WirtschftsBlatt added that four parties are bidding for the 66% stake in firm. These are Totalizator Sportowy Sp. z.o.o., Olympic Entertainment Group, United Entertainment Enterprises Inc. (ZPR) and Century Casinos.
