Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended October 3, 2009. For the quarter, the company reported adjusted earnings before income taxes was CAD 127.2 million and adjusted earnings after income taxes was CAD 91.0 million as compared to adjusted earnings before income taxes was CAD 159.2 million and adjusted earnings after income taxes was CAD 116.0 million for the same period last year.
