Past directorships have included IntraServer, merged into LSI Logic, Progressive Technologies, merged into Brooks Automation, and NovaCare, from inception through NYSE listing. Before founding Kestrel in 1996, Stone worked at Pell, Rudman & Co. Inc. and served as the general partner of its two venture funds. Stone joined Pell, Rudman after practicing law at the firm of Hemenway & Barnes in Boston.

For the quarter, the company reported net income of $3,161,000 or $0.84 per diluted share on net interest income of $9,963,000 against net income of $2,531,000 or $0.68 per diluted share on net interest income of $8,944,000 in the same period of last year.
