CA Inc. announced that it has joined Lockheed Martin's Cyber Security Technology Alliance. Additionally, CA cyber security solutions are now featured in Lockheed Martin's NexGen Cyber Innovation and Technology Center. As part of the Lockheed Martin Cyber Security Alliance, CA solutions will be a part of various test scenarios and end-to-end systems integration pilots. A global cyber range within the center allows for safe attack and defense testing simulating customer environments, enhancing the speed and innovation of solutions delivery. CA cyber security solutions extend beyond the network to protect data, information and IT assets from internal and external threats. The solutions deliver capabilities for identity lifecycle management, asset lifecycle management, data loss prevention, records management, securing Web operations, log management, and governance, risk and compliance.

CA, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular, quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per share. The dividend will be paid on November 30, 2009 to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 17, 2009.

CA Inc. announced that Richard Sulpizio has been elected to its Board of Directors effective immediately. Sulpizio also has been named to both the Board's Compensation and Human Resources and Corporate Governance Committees. Sulpizio's appointment increases the Board membership to 10, eight of whom are independent. Sulpizio, 59, has been serving as a director of ResMed Inc., a global developer, manufacturer, and marketer of medical products, since August 2005. He also currently serves on the advisory board of the University of California San Diego's Sulpizio Family Cardiovascular Center and the Board of Directors of the Danny Thompson Memorial Leukemia Foundation.
